After five successful editions, 50 000 athletes and more than €260,000 raised for charity, the Montepio race is now considered one of the biggest running and walking races in Portugal.

And this is not just any race. With each edition of the 10k run, 5k walk and the children’s race, all registration fees go entirely to charities which reflect the principles of solidarity and giving that define Associação Mutualista Montepio.

ACAPO works to promote the social inclusion of visually impaired people to and improve their quality of life.

It helps rehabilitate and reintegrate visually impaired people while continuously defending their rights. They cooperate with any organization or individual who wants to participate in the construction of a more inclusive and accessible society to all.
